Israel and Overseas Programming
The Jewish Federation works tirelessly to bring respite and support to communities that may be far away, but are close to our hearts.
There are Jews in Israel and across the globe whose lives are threatened or are made more difficult, simply because they are Jewish. Our Overseas Programming lends a helping hand to people all over the world, to give them support and the ability to embrace their Jewish identity.
Through specific grants, we have helped countless people and communities. This critical funding has helped soldiers returning home to Israel regain their lives. Our program works with immigrants who need assistance find their way to absorption centers and start their lives anew. Our partnership with Nesher has blossomed because we are so committed to Overseas Programming.
Overseas Programming covers a wide array of services. Whether it is helping a family fleeing Ethiopia or supporting needy Jews in Russia, we embrace the existence of Jewish life all across the globe. Our goal is to deliver Jews in peril from harm’s way and offer them a chance for a better life.
The Jewish Federation of Broward County looks forward to your continued support as you hear more from Laura in the months ahead.
